COuld OSCAR be an ANgel of Death?

NEW YORK

(AFP) - He is a two-year-old cat and looks innocent enough. But at the nursing home where he lives in the

US

state of

Rhode Island

, Oscar has developed a reputation as an angel of death.

Since being adopted as a kitten by staff at the advanced dementia unit of

Providence

’s Steere House Nursing and

Rehabilitation

Center

, Oscar has revealed a rather morbid tendency to pick which patient is going to die next.

According to David Dosa, a geriatrician at

Rhode Island

Hospital

in

Providence

, Oscar makes regular rounds, looking in on patients and giving them a quick sniff, before either moving on or settling down for a cuddle.

So accurate have his predictions been, that as soon as the white and tabby harbinger of death curls up with one of the patients, staff immediately start summoning family and clergy to the soon-to-be deathbed.

"No one dies on the third floor unless Oscar pays a visit and stays awhile," Dosa wrote in the New England Journal of Medicine.

"His mere presence at the bedside is viewed by physicians and nursing home staff as an almost absolute indicator of impending death, allowing staff members to adequately notify families," he added.

"Thus far, he has presided over the deaths of more than 25 residents."

Dosa did not offer any explanation for Oscar’s uncanny powers of prognostication, which patients were not yet believed to have spotted.

The Fact Untuk Perepuam!!!

If a man wants you, nothing can keep him
away.
If he doesn’t want you, nothing can make
him stay.
Stop making excuses for a man and his
behavior. Allow your intuition (or
spirit) to save you from heartache.
Stop trying to change yourselves for a
relationship that’s not meant to be.
Slower is better. Never live your life
for a man before you find what makes you
truly happy.
If a relationship ends because the man
was not treating you as you deserve then
heck no, you can’t "be friends."
A friend wouldn’t mistreat a friend.
Don’t settle. If you feel like he is
stringing you along, then he probably is.
Don’t stay because you think "it will
get better." You’ll be mad at yourself a
year later for staying when things are
not better!
The only person you can control in a
relationship is you.
Avoid men who’ve got a bunch of children
by a bunch of different women.
He didn’t marry them when he got them
pregnant, Why would he treat you any
differently?
Always have your own set of friends
separate from his.
Maintain boundaries in how a guy treats
you. If something bothers you, speak up.
Never let a man know everything. He will
use it against you later. You cannot
change a man’s behavior.
Change comes from within.
Don’t EVER make him feel he is more
important than you are… even if he has
more education or in a better job. Do
not make him into a quasi-god. He is a
man, nothing more nothing less.
Never let a man define who you are.
Never borrow someone Else’s man. If he
cheated with you, he’ll cheat on you.
A man will only treat you the way you
ALLOW him to treat you.
All men are NOT dogs.
You should not be the one doing all the
bending…compromise is two way street!
You need time to heal between
relationships…there is nothing cute
about baggage… deal with your issues
before pursuing a new relationship
You should never look for someone to
COMPLETE you…a relation ship consists
of two WHOLE individuals…look for
someone complimentary…not
supplementary.
Dating is fun…even if he doesn’t turn
out to be Mr. Right.
Make him miss you sometimes…when a man
always know where you are, and your
always readily available to him- he
takes it for granted.
Never move into his mother’s house.
Never co-sign for a man. (Hallelujah,
thank you Jesus!)
Don’t fully commit to a man who doesn’t
give you everything that you need.
Keep him in your radar but get to know
others.
Share this with other ladies….. You’ll
make someone smile, another rethink her
choices, and another woman prepare. They
say it takes a minute to find a special
person, an hour to appreciate them, a
day to love them and an entire lifetime
to forget them.

Jail term was a message from God, says Paris Hilton

June 11th, 2007 by ife

936139242parishiltonwontappealcallsendmeLOS ANGELES (AFP) - Paris Hilton believes her jail sentence was a message from God to change her party-loving lifestyle and become a positive role model for women who look up to.

In her first interview since she was dramatically sent back to prison last Friday for probation violation in a drink-driving case, Hilton said her imprisonment has served as a life-changing wake-up call.

Her comments were made to veteran television journalist Barbara Walters in a phone-call from the hospital facility of the Los Angeles jail where the heiress to the Hilton hotel empire is being held.

"I’m not the same person I was," Walters quoted Hilton as saying on her ABC television program ‘The View’ on Monday.

"I used to act dumb. It was an act. I am 26 years old, and that act is no longer cute. It is not who I am, nor do I want to be that person for the young girls who looked up to me."

Walters said Hilton — who was reported to be under heavy medication amid concerns for her mental health — sounded "tired but totally aware of what she was saying."

Hilton has said she will not appeal the decision to send her back to prison to serve her 45-day term.

She was controversially released after spending only three days behind bars last week, sparking a public outcry and prompting Los Angeles judge Michael Sauer to order her back to jail.

Hilton, who was dragged sobbing and wailing from court on Friday, suggested she intends to give up her lifestyle of endless VIP parties, red carpets and pursuing the limelight upon her release.

"I know now that I can make a difference, that I have the power to do that. I have been thinking that I want to do different things when I am out of here," she said. "I have become much more spiritual. God has given me this new chance."

Hilton said her new-found spirituality had led her to believe that her jail stint was meant to be.

"I feel that the purpose of my life is to be where I am," Hilton told Walters. "My spirit or soul did not like the way I was being seen and that is why I was sent to jail. God has released me."

Hilton said she was considering pursuing work to raise awareness about breast cancer or multiple sclerosis.

Walters also said Hilton had mentioned trying to persuade toy companies to manufacture a Paris Hilton playhouse which could be donated to sick children.

Hilton meanwhile described her first days behind bars as a "horrible experience," revealing that she had not eaten or slept at all. "I was severely depressed and felt as if I was in a cage," she said.

The primped and pampered celebutante also revealed that her beauty regimen had suffered since her incarceration, saying her skin was dehydrated because of a ban on moisturizer.

"It doesn’t matter," Hilton said, "I’m not that superficial girl. I haven’t looked in the mirror since I got here."

Meanwhile, Los Angeles sheriff Lee Baca, who has been under fire since his decision to transfer Hilton to home detention last week, met civil rights activist Al Sharpton on Monday amid allegations of preferential treatment.

Sharpton said Hilton was given the star treatment because she is white and rich, and questioned whether a rapper would have been allowed to go home early.

"If anything can come out of this Paris Hilton story, it should be to put some light on the fact that there are many people based on their income that just cannot get relief," Sharpton told reporters after the meeting.

AmWhat is Jujitsu? Jujitsu is a broad term used to represent a style of Martial Arts that originated from the samurai and was one of the key forms they practiced for hand-to-hand combat. From this art derives many of the modern styles, such as Judo and Aikido. It is sometimes lumped into the even wider term of “karate,” though that does it a great injustice as the art is quite different in origin and intent.944681967l

The word Jujitsu, sometimes also spelled Jiu-Jitsu, Jujutsu, is literally translated to “the gentle art.” Its origins are clouded by several legends, some saying it came from a Chinese emigrant, some that it is indigenous to Japan. The idea behind Jujitsu is to maintain efficient use of energy, minimal movements, and utilizing your opponent’s momentum to your advantage. Traditional Jujitsu does incorporate some weapons, such as the katana, spears and other weapons that would have been common to the samurai. However, it is rare for a lower rank student to work weapons and few schools actually teach this aspect of the art. Jujitsu focuses on immobilization and taking the opponent down to the floor. So it is common to see the opponent either locked in a painful position or thrown at the end of a movement. Other Japanese styles, such as kenpo, tend to focus more on strikes, which normally with a final deadly blow (such a punch or kick) and then stepping away. Because of this concept of immobilizing the opponent, Jujitsu is often practiced by law enforcement groups and has been compared at times to wrestling and several more Western means of hand-to-hand combat. That is not fair! WHy did U give me Ur number If U ain’t gonna pick my calls. I Like People who are straight foward.
I could remember the Last Promnite where I  performed and during my Perfrmance, I brought out a Lady call Adeline and Made her the Asian Queen Model, I dance with her on stage during my performance, and the following week i saw her in school, I just reached out my hands for a hand shake and she rejected it and pretended as if She doesn’t know me. Please HELP ME JUDGE THAT!
For GOD sake I have my own wife, I am Married. SO why should I be after other gurls.
I don’t wanna be unfaithful to my Gurl.
So Ladies, please be positive minded whenever U see me, I might be a Ladies man, but ain’t no PIMP.
